At the invitation of the Latin American Institute, Astdelloval Baptista, an academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Venezuela and a professor at the Institute of Advanced Management visited China from May 14 to May 24, 1993. He is a Venezuelan economist, especially oil experts. On May 17, his report on the economic situation in Venezuela and oil prices made in Latin America was welcomed by the participants.
