Ecological stratigraphy is the application of palaeontological community to divide and contrast stratigraphic disciplines, it is stratigraphy and age stratigraphy, bio-stratigraphy, lithostratigraphy and so on parallel to a new branch. Communities are “biomes that live together in a particular natural environment”. In one community, they include not only the concept of a particular biome but also the concept of the environment in which the biome was living at the time. The two are interdependent, Inseparable, community groups indicate that some communities with homology can be envisioned as Petersen community time series.
