包内吹惰性气体精炼熔融金属工艺现已广泛应用,但有关理论问题尚待探讨.本文描述了在模拟条件下,应用激光测气泡频率的方法;阐明了透气砖孔径、气泡频率与吹气速率间的关系;论证了在试验条件下,脱气效率仅与吹气所生成的气泡总频率有关;在此基础上,作者提出了临界吹气速率概念,即最佳吹气率概念,作为设计和研究吹气精炼工艺的依据;文中还叙述了吹气的搅拌作用的一些结果.作者认为本试验的结果可定性地适用于任何液体金属.而定量地应用尚有待于进一步的试验和研究.
