无锡日报1979年复刊时,面临的困难局面是:每张报纸的成本超过售价近一倍,而财政部门除拨给复刊开办费四万元外,不再给予亏损补贴。因此,报纸在出周三刊的情况下,不得不把发行量限制在三万份以内,以尽量减少亏损额。另外,当时的编采人员,大部分人在十年动乱中被下放农村,回城后多数家庭蜷缩在几个平方米的临时住所内,有的还暂时睡在办公室里。 When the Wuxi Daily reprinted in 1979, the difficult situation faced was that the cost of each newspaper nearly doubled its selling price, and the finance department no longer provided subsidies for losses except for the 40,000 yuan it set aside for the resumption of its operation.
