Drag racing killings, has become the commonplace of today’s Chinese news. Coincidentally, the most outrageous local news has also been read in a Boston newspaper recently: An 89-year-old lady killed a four-year-old child on a crosswalk. These accidents reflect a grim reality of globalization: the world dies a year from more than a million people in traffic accidents, of which 90,000 are in China and 40,000 in the United States, which has the largest number of private cars. Traffic accidents are undoubtedly the biggest killer in the world.
