SV_(40)是一类能诱发不同类型细胞转化的DNA肿瘤病毒。病毒基因组有5243bp,含早复制与晚复制基因群。早复制基因群编码大T(LT)和小T(ST)两种蛋白。因LT与ST直接参与细胞转化,目前认为编码LT和ST蛋白的LT和ST基因是SV_(40)基因组中的癌基因。在细胞转化成瘤性表型的过程中,LT基因主要是使正常细胞进入转化前的临界状态,形成永生化细胞,而ST基因则有助于进一步促进永生化细胞的完全转化。此外,许多转化细胞,特别是SV_(40)转化的细胞内还存在一种与细胞转化有关的蛋白,该蛋白由细胞P_(53)基因编码,在转化
SV_ (40) is a type of DNA tumor virus that can induce the transformation of different types of cells. The viral genome is 5243 bp and contains early and late replication gene populations. Early replication of the gene group encodes both large T (LT) and small T (ST) proteins. Because LT and ST are directly involved in cell transformation, the LT and ST genes encoding the LT and ST proteins are currently considered to be oncogenes in the SV_(40) genome. In the process of transformation of a cell into a neoplastic phenotype, the LT gene predominantly causes normal cells to enter a critical state before transformation to form immortalized cells, while the ST gene contributes to the further promotion of complete transformation of immortalized cells. In addition, a number of transformed cells, especially those transformed with SV 40, also have a protein involved in cell transformation. The protein is encoded by the cell P_53 gene and is transformed.
