对于弥尔顿的《失乐园》,不同的人有不同的看法,但不可否认的是,在该作品中,夏娃被弥尔顿赋予了新女性的特征。本文在女性主义视域下解读了《失乐园》中的夏娃形象。通过分析我们可以发现,前八卷中,夏娃对亚当是温顺的、是言听计从的,她的这种言行表现说明了她对父权社会的接受和认同,不过从第九卷开始,夏娃开始追求独立和智慧,这说明了她女性自我意识的觉醒以及不甘于处在社会从属地位。
For Milton's “Paradise Lost,” different people have different views, but it is undeniable that in this work, Eve was given New Milton's features by Milton. This article interprets the image of Eve in Paradise Lost from the perspective of feminism. From the analysis we can see that in the first eight volumes, Eve is docile to Adam, and her behavior shows her acceptance and approval of the patriarchal society. However, starting from the ninth volume, Eve began to pursue Independence and wisdom, which illustrates the awakening of her feminine self-awareness and unwillingness to be in a social subordinate.
