To understand the main factors that affect the prognosis of sudden deafness and to estimate the prognosis, we used multivariate stepwise discriminant analysis and multivariate stepwise regression analysis on 202 patients with sudden deafness. The results showed that: the degree of deafness, the time from onset to treatment and whether or not dizziness have a significant effect on the prognosis of sudden deafness, and the gender has a certain impact on the prognosis of sudden deafness.
