Objective To investigate whether there is an inter-relationship between ovulation and fetal sex on the left and right. Methods A total of 2135 cycles of ovulation-guided intercourse were monitored in our hospital from 2010 to 2013. There were 2135 cycles of ovulation, 956 cycles of ovulation in the left and 1179 cycles of ovulation in the right. The pregnancy rate, delivery rate and gender composition ratio of two groups were compared. Results In the left ovulation cycle, there were 139 cases of pregnancy (pregnancy rate 14.54%), 125 cases of successful delivery (69 cases of baby boys and 56 cases of baby girls), 151 cases of pregnancy (12.81% of pregnancies) in the right ovulation cycle, 141 There were no significant differences in the rate of pregnancy between the two groups (P> 0.05). There was also no significant difference between male and female (P> 0.05). Conclusion Pregnancy rate and delivery rate have no correlation with infant ovulation in which side.
