不久前,我参加北京的一次大型“科技兴国”研讨会,得知周恩来总理生前十分关心、支持我国直升机的发展,作过许多重要指示,有的指示还鲜为人知。而且,给周总理驾驶直升机的飞行员、原空34师副师长王焕今同志,就住在北京。为此,我两次详细地采访了他。他说,周总理为了节省工作时间,带头乘坐直升机到交通不便的地区进行工作,是第一个乘坐国产直—5型直升机的党和国家领导人。周总理一生共乘坐过9次直升机,有7次是他亲自驾驶的。这里介绍的是王焕今同志亲历、亲见、亲闻周总理乘坐直升机去外地视察工作、陪同外宾参观、抗震救灾等几个主要片断。 Not long ago, I attended a large-scale “rejuvenation of the country by science and technology” seminar in Beijing.
