The “reversal method” is a new construction technology developed by the international construction community in the past decade in which underground continuous wall construction technology is applied to high-rise building projects with multi-story basements. At present, high-rise buildings around the world generally have a basement. High-rise buildings in France, Italy, and European countries have 3 to 6 basements below the ground, with a maximum of 8 to 9 floors. Japan also has a basement with more than 3 floors. The United States is more, generally 6 to 7 floors. For multi-storey buildings with single or double basements, the conventional “open” method is used for the foundation pit construction. Generally, the underground foundation pit retaining structure works are first constructed, and then the excavation of the foundation pit is carried out to complete the procedure of the reinforced concrete floor. Afterwards, each floor of the underground building will be constructed from the bottom up, and after the completion of the basic basement, the ground floor will be constructed.
