本文采用ATP酶细胞化学方法观察了20例人食管癌标本中正常上皮、不典型增生上皮、原位癌以及鳞状细胞癌中Langerhans细胞的形态和分布。发现在粘膜的不同病变及癌的不同时期,Langerhans细胞的数量各不相同,在不典型增生上皮内其数量最少(P<0.01),而在早期癌内其数量明显增多(P<0.05)。在正常上皮内多为具有长突起的Langerhans细胞,而在不典型增生上皮及癌灶内,形体较小,具有短突起的Langerhans细胞占优势。同时采用计算机图象分析系统分析了上皮舖片中Langerhans细胞的变化,测定了细胞周长、面积及形状指数等参数。结果提示Langerhans细胞可能参与人食管癌形成过程中的免疫反应。
In this paper, the morphology and distribution of Langerhans cells in normal epithelium, atypical hyperplastic epithelium, carcinoma in situ and squamous cell carcinoma of 20 human esophageal cancer specimens were observed by ATPase cytochemistry. The number of Langerhans cells was different in different stages of mucosal lesions and in different stages of cancer. The number of Langerhans cells in atypical hyperplasia epithelium was the lowest (P <0.01), while it was significantly increased in early stage carcinomas (P <0.05). In normal epithelium, Langerhans cells with long protuberances are mostly, while in atypical hyperplasia epithelium and foci, they are smaller in size and Langerhans cells with short protuberance predominate. At the same time, the changes of Langerhans cells in epithelialized patches were analyzed by computer image analysis system. The parameters of cell periphery, area and shape index were determined. The results suggest that Langerhans cells may participate in the immune response in the process of human esophageal cancer.
