Oscar and Lucinda are the classic of Peter Carey from Australia’s contemporary famous writer. This article interprets it from the perspective of feminism and points out that the novel demonstrates the spirit of feminism through the dual tragedy of Lu Xindong’s career and love , Whipping up a patriarchal society in the colonial era.
