The U.S. Army is currently strengthening its conventional forces. Billions of dollars for ambitious plans. Antitank war deserves special emphasis - new systems like the MBT (main battle tank) M-1 are being adopted. Other innovations, including those with terminal guns and rockets, are also on the way. Several equipment programs were reviewed in the following pages of the “North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s Fifteen-Nation”; the coverage here mainly comes from the intelligence obtained at the annual meeting of the Army Association of the United States in Sheila, Washington, the capital of the United States, at the end of October 1981 Hotel was held.
