第一条为了贯彻执行《关于统计上划分城乡的暂行规定》(简称《暂行规定》),规范城乡划分工作,制定本办法。第二条国家统计局负责组织和协调全国城乡划分工作,建立和管理全国《城乡地域库》,监督、检查全国城乡划分工作和执行《暂行规定》情况。第三条地方各级统计部门负责组织 Article 1 These Procedures are formulated for the purpose of implementing the Provisional Regulations on the Statistical Division of Urban and Rural Areas (Interim Provisions) and regulating the division of urban and rural areas. Article 2 The National Bureau of Statistics is responsible for organizing and coordinating the work of dividing the urban and rural areas throughout the country, establishing and managing the “urban and rural regional databases” throughout the country, supervising and examining the division of urban and rural areas throughout the country and implementing the “Interim Provisions”. Article 3 The local statistical departments at all levels are responsible for organizing the work
