以中国上海交通大学与美国麻省理工学院两所大学为例,本文分别从实践课程和理论课程、选修课程和必修课程、人文课程和理工课程、基础课程和专业课程四个角度对两校高等工程教育本科课程设置进行比较。认为我国高等工程教育本科课程设置和改革应注意以下几点:夯实理论知识,锻炼实践能力,培养通理论、能实干的高级工程人才;完善必修课程,增设选修课程,培养高素质、宽领域的高级工程人才;强化理工课程,关注人文课程,培养有特色、多学科的高级工程人才;拓宽基础课程,精化专业课程,培养厚基础、精业务的高级工程人才。
Taking Shanghai Jiaotong University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology as examples, this paper analyzes the differences between the two universities in terms of practical courses and theoretical courses, elective courses and compulsory courses, humanities courses and science courses, basic courses and specialized courses Engineering education undergraduate curriculum settings for comparison. The author thinks that we should pay attention to the following points in setting and reforming the undergraduate courses of higher engineering education in our country: tamp theoretical knowledge, practice practical ability, train advanced engineering talents who can work hard theory and can work hard; improve compulsory courses, add elective courses and cultivate high quality and wide field Senior engineering talents; strengthen the science and technology courses, focus on humanities courses, training of distinctive, multidisciplinary senior engineering talent; broaden the basic courses, refinement of professional courses, training of thick foundation and fine work of senior engineering talent.
