近些年来,普通高校陆续开设了“文献检索与利用”课(下称文检课),并取得较好的成效。如何在成人教育特别是在继续教育中开好文检课,这是需要引起重视和探讨的问题。目前,我国的继续教育具有多层次、多规格、多形式和在职为主、业余为主、自学为主的特点。根据这“三多”、“三为主”的特点对成人开设文检课,我认为可采取以下方法。1.在时间上按进校后和高校前区分新学员入校时,结合入学教育,首先组织他们参观图书馆,了解图书馆的概况、文献资源布局、借阅原则方法等,并对学员进行“如何利用图书馆”这一最初步的文献利用入门教育。学员进校后,由于受教学程序的控制,会出现阶段性的对某方面文献的急需,入门教育则可帮助他们解决学习
