通过引入光纤链路自动交换的方法对半导体光放大器(SOA)进行分析,发现SOA除具有放大功能外还具有另外2个特性:SOA内部载流子的变化会引起SOA内部电压的变化;通过对注入到SOA中的电流进行控制,可实现SOA光交换。根据SOA的这些特性,可以利用SOA采集加在链路中的控制信息,确定链路间的连接信息;同时通过由SOA构成的硬件控制电路和信息处理软件对所采集到的信息进行处理,实现对SOA的自动化控制,从而完成对光纤通信传输链路的自动化光交换。
