在我的童年时候,外公经常跟我讲洪师雕刻的故事,如今亲眼见到他的作品时,先前那一幕幕情景又浮现在眼前。洪师不修边幅的形象以及他技压群雄的技艺,使我很受鼓舞。那是洪师与众多雕刻能手在同一宗祠内雕刻牛腿的过程,大家都认为眼前邋遢样的是洪师的徒弟,所谓人不可貌相,他娴熟的技艺使得众多能工巧匠折服。洪师徒弟有如此高的手艺,洪师本人就不言而喻,洪师从此声名远播。 In my childhood, my grandfather often told me about the story of Hong Shi carving.
