In 1981, two years after the technical city was envisioned as a “new horizon of the industrial and commercial policies in the 1980s”, Hyogo Prefecture proposed the basic idea of building the Western Broadcasting Technology City. Located about 70 km from Kobe and about 100 km from Osaka, Nishijin mill links with the three major cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Kobe in the west, Okayama Prefecture in the west, and the Chuo Sikoku, Kyushu and Kyushu in the Seto Inland Sea to the south, Osaka, God’s route. This area will be centered on the introduction and development of cutting-edge technology industries and will build a new urban area that challenges the 21st century academic city issue, This will not only provide a model for Japan’s future industries to be nurtured, research and development and regional development, but also have the significance of establishing a pilot for Japan that aims to establish a nation for science and technology.
