Fluoroquinolone antibacterials have been used worldwide to treat severe infections. The authors review the drug interactions of different quinolones during absorption. The main discussion of ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin and other food, H 2 receptor antagonist, anticholinergic drugs and metal-containing cationic drug interactions.
