本文以土地资源及利用为核心，以区域PRESD系统为对象，并以该系统要素及相互关系的发展变化和系统发展的可持续性评价为内容，对桂林市区域持续发展进行了研究。结果表明，未来该市区域持续发展将面临严峻挑战；研究方法上，可以土地资源及利用为核心和突破口开展区域持续发展研究，从而促进持续发展尽快进人实践，并丰富其研究理论和手段。文章最后提出了保证桂林市区域持续发展应采取的措施，并对区域持续发展的研究方法进行了探讨。
Taking the land resources and the utilization as the core, this paper takes the regional PRESD system as the object, and takes the system elements and the interrelationship development and the sustainability evaluation of the system development as the content, and studies the sustainable development of the region in Guilin. The results show that the sustainable development of the urban area will face severe challenges in the future. In terms of research methods, the sustainable development of the region may be studied with the core and breakthrough of land resources and utilization, so as to promote sustainable development as soon as possible and enrich its research theories and methods. Finally, the article puts forward the measures that should be taken to ensure the sustainable development of Guilin and explores the research methods of sustainable development in the region.
