It was shown from the laboratory data that high temperature corrosion-erosion(C-E)resistance of some commercial Cr bearing steels strongly depended on their corrosion re-sistance.The C-E resistance increased with increasing of Cr content in steels,which isobviously improved at 850℃ when Cr content is up to 9wt-%.Meanwhile,nature andshape of erodant particles had a significant influence on the C-E rate of steels.Mecha-nisms of degradation of materials had been put forth.
