哺乳动物生精细胞体外培养技术发展迅速,在人类,已经有体内发育阻滞生精细胞经体外培养发生分化,帮助生精阻滞患者生育遗传学后代的报道。研究较多的生精细胞体外培养和诱导分化的技术包括:生精小管片段培养、生精细胞-支持细胞共培养、生精细胞-Vero细胞共培养。人生精细胞体外分化由于研究例数少,目前技术还很不成熟,人体组织不易获得是限制人生精细胞体外分化研究的瓶颈。最新研究表明,通过建立人精原干细胞系,将有望为人生精细胞体外分化研究提供源源不断的研究材料。
