From April to June 2002, archaeologists from Dunhuang Academy and The Museum of Anxi County had dug upseveral pieces of earthenware and porcelain as well as some steel and iron instruments and other stone tools from theinner circle of Suoyang City at Anxi county Gansu Province. About 8 prospect pits were tried out and found the exca-vated pits and holes for supporting the sides of the tampered city-walls。
