利用野生二色补血草定株观察和人工驯化种植试验，研究出二色补血草的生长年限在２～４ａ之间，植株开花结籽后即死亡。从生长和开花结果规律看，它并非多年生植物，而是越年生植物，只是在营养积累不够时植株不开花。二色补血草植株本身不具备再生能力，故亟待保护；在二色补血草的种植地块，每年或隔年播撒一次种子，可连年采收花枝，实现产业化繁育。
Using wild dicotyledon Strain observation and artificial domestication cultivation test, the growth of Limonium bicolor was found to be between 2 and 4 years old, and the plants died after flowering and seed formation. From the law of growth and flowering results, it is not perennial, but the perennial plant, but not enough nutrients in the accumulation of plants not flowering. Two-color limon plant itself does not have the ability to regenerate, it is urgent protection; planting two blocks of Limonium, sowing once a year or every other year, year after year to harvest squid, to achieve industrialization and breeding.
