Ethnic relations is one of the important relations that multi-ethnic countries must face. It directly affects the development of the country and the stability of society. As a typical multi-ethnic group, Malaysia has a strict stratification of ethnic groups. However, serious ethnic conflicts rarely occur and ethnic relations are relatively harmonious. The reason is that the special political system provides a buffer mechanism for ethnic relations and minimizes ethnic conflicts. The government’s policies regulate ethnic relations and make timely adjustments according to changes in ethnic relations, thus avoiding serious ethnic conflicts happened.
