知识的有效运用对我国社会经济的发展有着重要作用,而将知识凝聚在一起的图书馆,是促进社会发展的基石,要想使国内图书馆走入一流图书馆水准,图书馆的管理工作首先要提高,这对图书管理人员提出了更高的要求。我国图书管理人员由于受到多方面因素的影响,人员素质参差不齐。本文首先对图书管理人员的角色功能进行了分析,在此基础上,又对图书管理人员素质提出了新的要求,同时分析了当前图书管理人员的素质现状,并列出了几条提高图书管理人员素质的建议。
