我在台盟北京市委担任副主委,本职工作是北京结核病控制研究所儿科主任医师、北京防痨协会秘书长。从1980年起担任区人民代表大会代表,到现在已连任四届。从1986年开始担任市人代会常务委员会委员,到现在已连任两届。经过党的教育,台盟的教育和实践中的锻炼,思想上有很大提高,激发起很大的政治责任感和工作热情。人民代表大会制度是我国的根本制度,能担任人大常委会的委员,我从内心深处既感到荣幸,又感到责任重大。一开始的想法是,既然人民选了我,就不能停留在名誉、光荣等虚名上,绝不能当挂名代表,而是要为人民办实事、办好事。这些年来,社会主义民主和法制建设进展很快,人民代表大会和人大常委会的立法和监督工作有很大发展。我在参与工作中进一步认识到,人民代表大会既管立法又管监督政府的工作,是“议行合一”的权力机关。当人民代表的要议政,这个议政不是空谈,而是要付之于行 I am vice chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Taiwan Strait, my own job is the Beijing Pediatric Tuberculosis Control Institute chief physician, Beijing anti-tuberculosis Association Secretary-General. They must not act as deputies, but instead do practical things and do good deeds for the people. Over the years, the construction of socialist democracy and the rule of law has progressed rapidly, and the legislative and supervisory work of the NPC and the NPC Standing Committee has greatly progressed. In my participation in the work, I further realized that the people’s congress is not only responsible for administering the work of the government but also supervising the work of the government, and is the organ of “one body and one line”.
