Determination of zirconium and hafnium, respectively, due to separation difficulties, is still one of the cutting-edge analytical chemistry problems. In order to determine their contents or zirconium-hafnium ratios, respectively, analysts have proposed many solutions. Among them, spectroscopic analysis, isotope analysis, thermal analysis, mass spectrometry, and calculation of differences in specific gravity are all physical methods. Most of these methods are suitable for large or small zirconium-hafnium samples, as well as some operational and equipment limitations. Indirect method has been studied a lot. Important methods are based on zirconium hafnium selenite and calcined salt obtained by the oxide between the chemical composition of the difference between the calculated amount of zirconium and hafnium zirconium hafnium sulfate according to the process
