山楂种壳坚硬并长期休眠,过去用人工催芽需要两冬一夏或一夏(秋)一冬的贮藏才能生芽,大大影响了繁殖速度。去年冬季,本社从山西省进了一部分山楂种果,我们运用冬季快速催芽技术进行催芽,结果有1600斤种果催芽成功,到三月萌芽,今春育出山楂苗十四万棵。按含仁种计算发芽率最高的达到百分之七十。主要方法是: 一、反复浸晒,开裂种壳。这是催芽的第一个关键。开裂种壳的办法就是夜间浸泡在水里,白天摊在阳光下晒,反复多次。浸晒的次数根据气温高低而定,一般十一月份需五至十次,十二月份需十至十五次,直至种壳彻底裂开为止。所谓彻底开裂
