“赋”入六义,源自《诗大序》对《周礼》“六诗”的改造。郑玄第一次较为自洽地诠释了“六义”之“赋”。郑玄将“六义”之“赋”界定为“直铺陈”有两条接受路径。一条是赋体创作实践及其理论评介的影响。另一条路径是在先秦以来人们探索诗歌作品生成方式基础上进行理论总结,并以比较格义的方式第一次将“直”赋予赋,从而使“赋”获得“直陈”意涵而与同为譬喻的比、兴区别开来。汉人并未以六义之赋去说赋体,以“铺陈”来说赋体那是郑玄以后的事情。郑玄对“六义”之“赋”较为自洽的诠解为进一步认识赋法、赋体乃至体物诗艺提供了广阔的理论背景。
