音乐是发展孩子想像力、创造力,促进个性发展的有效手段。几乎所有的孩子都喜欢动听的声音、美妙的音乐,喜欢随着音乐歌唱、舞蹈,音乐活动是孩子最喜欢的活动之一。但在幼儿园里,我们却经常可以看到这样的情景:教师非常强调秩序和规则,在教师的设计和要求下,孩子被动机械地唱歌、做动作,所有环节都如教师所愿“顺利”完成。当然,我们不能仅凭这些现象来评判活动的好坏,但是如果我们看不到孩子在愉快地感受,热情地表达,自由地想像,那么,这样的音乐活动肯定不能认为是成功的。《幼儿园教育指导纲要(试行)》明确提出艺术活动的目标是培养幼儿对美的感受能力、丰富审美经验、体验自由表达和创造的快乐,而不是单纯的知识和技能技巧的传授。为此,在音乐教育中,我们可以从以下几方面入手:
