2008年12月,首届全国高等音乐艺术院校少数民族音乐文化传承学术研讨会在中国音乐学院隆重举行,旨在通过研讨促进少数民族地区音乐艺术院校在弘扬、传承少数民族传统音乐文化方面发挥更加重要的作用,构成高等音乐教育本土人才培养模式改革的多样性,文章以吉首大学的改革为依据,探讨音乐学专业本土化人才培养的新模式,从而推动少数民族地方院校音乐学专业的多元化发展。
