Our holographic grating research group used some of the original equipment in the quake-prone period to make some seismic tests and found that the laser interferometry is more sensitive to seismic measurements. As a result, in some helium-neon laser factories, schools or research institutes can temporarily borrow earthquakes to measure earthquakes and contribute a bit to group defense efforts.
