后殖民主义理论自20世纪80年代末、90年代初开始传入国内后,众多学者发表文章对这一理论或进行译介,或研究阐释,或参与争论,在学术界掀起了一股后殖民理论研究的热潮,促进了这一理论在国内的传播。后殖民理论在中国学界很快成为研究的热点,应该说与古老的中国传统文化在向现代化转变的过程中所遇到的一系列实际问题有着直接的关联。在“全球化”和后殖民的语境中如何由本土传统向以西方文明为主导的现代化过渡?如何处理传统文化与西方强势文化之间的关系?怎样在“全球化”的语境中重建本民族的文化身份?这些都是研究后殖民理论的学者们无法绕开的重要问题。认真地梳理这一过程中所取得的成绩和出现的问题,对于国内学术界的现代西方理论研究具有一定的借鉴意义。

To conscientiously sort out the achievements and problems that have been made in this process has a certain reference for the study of the modern western theories of the domestic academic circles.
