本文介绍了一个处理起始含量为5微克~(252)Cf的过期~(252)Cf自发裂变中子源的化学流程。主要程序包括:机械去壳; Pd-Cf_2O_3 金属陶瓷丝的溶解;阴离子交换法除 Pd;最后用 HDEHP 萃取色层法分离 Cf和 Cm。实验结果表明:~(252)Cf的回收率大于90%,Cf产品经α和γ能谱鉴定,没有发现其它α和γ放射体的沾污。
This article describes a chemical process that deals with the expired -258 Cf spontaneous fission neutron source with an initial content of 5 micrograms (252) Cf. The main procedures include: mechanical de-shell; dissolution of Pd-Cf_2O_3 cermets; removal of Pd by anion exchange; and separation of Cf and Cm by HDEHP extraction. The experimental results show that the recovery rate of ~ (252) Cf is greater than 90%. The Cf products are identified by α and γ spectra, and no contamination of other α and γ emitters is found.
