Some theatres with balconies have a large span (>15m) of floor beams and they have to arrange 1 to 2 columns in the auditorium. If a cantilevered structure is used, the column may not be set up, but it must have a fairly large depth of lobby and the calculation is complicated. The statically indeterminate structure can also be used, so it is not possible to set up an anteroom and not to erect columns, but the calculations are also very complicated. The scheme introduced in this article is an example and has been adopted in practical projects. In this paper, the statically indeterminate structural beam system analysis of this scheme is summarized into several simple calculation formulas. As long as the designer has the basic knowledge of a single span beam, the internal forces of the statically indeterminate beam system can be quickly calculated.
