本文从水源保护林经营目标、经营原则出发，结合国际林业发展新趋势和国内林业建设需要，将现代恢复生态学原理、林隙动态理论、有效干扰理论和边缘效应原理引入防护林经营当中，提出定向经营的新观点，揭示定向恢复及其规律，为实现我国防护林健康更新、持续利用开拓新思路，提供新方法。
