面对越来越高的燃油费及人工成本压力,公路货运企业普遍采用轻量化、低行驶阻力及节能环保的货运车辆等措施来降低运营成本,但这些措施都无法满足公路货运量急剧增长的需要,无法有效遏制车辆密度快速增长的趋势。较长组合车辆可以有效提高甩挂运输效率,减少燃油消耗,提高公路、铁路和海洋联运效率。由此,本文详细介绍了北美洲、澳洲和欧洲较长组合车辆的使用情况,并着重介绍了欧洲采用模块化理念研发的较长组合车辆的原理、技术及优点等,为我国货运车辆设计制造、标准法规制定、交通及公路管理等提供了一定的借鉴之处。本文分2期发表,本期主要介绍欧洲模块化较长组合车辆的历史沿革、组合方式、技术突破、优点及前景展望。
