随着微创外科技术和手术器械、麻醉技术水平的提高，电视胸腔镜手术（ＶＡＴＳ） 已发展成为胸外科领域中一种重要的手段。１９９５ 年５ 月以来，作者经胸腔镜辅助行食管癌切除１５ 例。其中胸中段食管癌９ 例，下段６ 例，除１ 例因肿瘤外侵明显而中转开胸外，另１４ 例经胸腔镜顺利完成了胸段食管的游离、淋巴结的清除。作者介绍了ＶＡＴＳ食管癌手术方法，对适应证的选择和操作要点进行了讨论
With the improvement of minimally invasive surgical techniques, surgical instruments, and anesthetic techniques, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) has become an important means in the field of thoracic surgery. Since May 1995, the author has performed thoracoscopic assisted resection of 15 cases of esophageal cancer. Among them, 9 cases of thoracic esophageal cancer and 6 cases of lower esophageal cancer were treated with thoracoscopy. The thoracoscopic esophageal dissection and lymph node clearance were successfully performed. The author introduced the VATS surgical method for esophageal cancer and discussed the selection and operation points of indications.
