The car has environmental labeling, vegetables have green certification, milk has organic certification, and now, Lenovo hopes to put a “carbon logo ” on their own computers. Carbon logo may be a small label attached to the product packaging, of course, these details depend on not yet released “certification body ”. These small tags will tell consumers the amount of carbon dioxide consumed by the product from raw material to finished product, giving consumers a quantified understanding of the damage the product produces to the environment and making their own choices. Lenovo Gong Xun recent work is related to this. The associate global aides assistant engineer at the global R & D center at Lenovo Group has been busy computing the amount of carbon dioxide emitted by the computers they produce for the past few months. Some of the fruits of their research are now on display in Copenhagen. Lenovo dreams of becoming the first company in the world to have a carbon logo on all its products
