盐粳2号是江苏省盐城地区农科所培育的粳稻新品种。该品种的特点是:秆低、耐肥、抗倒、高抗白叶枯病、高产优质。我县于1985年引进试种,在1985—1987年的三年试验中,亩产均超过500公斤,较豫粳1号增产10%—20%。1988年五里桥乡种植的66.5亩高产示范田,平均亩产633.5公斤;1989年种植的1651亩高产开发方,平均亩产558.7公 Yanjing 2 is a new japonica rice cultivated in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province.
