The founding meeting of ICSCC for internal combustion engine industry was held at Shanghai Internal Combustion Engine Research Institute from July 13th to 15th, 1988, and 44 delegates from 36 units belonging to 5 ministries and commissions of Ministry of Machinery and Electronic Technology, Ministry of Railways and Education Commission attended the meeting.
