According to reports on Scheduledaily website, India’s first space observatory, or Astrosat, was successfully launched from the Space Center Sudidah Davan on the morning of September 28 at 10:00 a.m. The satellite was launched by the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV). The Astrosat satellite weighs 1,513 kg and has a track height of 650 km, with a dip of 6 degrees with respect to the equator. The satellite includes an X-ray telescope that will perform spectroscopic studies on X-ray binaries, supernova remnants, galactic and galaxy clusters, including black holes and stars
