尊敬的各位来宾,女士们、先生们,很高兴参加商务部研究院举办的2007跨国公司与中国可持续发展峰会。借此机会,我愿意就跨国公司与经济全球化、吸收外资与中国经济发展以及中国外资政策的走向等问题和大家做一个交流。跨国公司的发展加快了经济全球化进程首先,跨国公司已成为推动世界经济发展的重要力量。目前全球拥有6．4万多家跨国公司,这些公司的产值已占世界总产值的1/3,并拥有全球91％的知识产权,其内部贸易和相互间贸易已占世界贸易的60％以上。它的对外直接投资已经占全球跨国投资的90％。
Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to attend the 2007 Multinational Corporations and China Sustainable Development Summit organized by the Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce. I would like to take this opportunity to make an exchange of views on the issues such as the transnational corporations and the globalization of the economy, the absorption of foreign investment and the economic development of China, and the trend of China's foreign investment policy. The Development of Multinational Corporations Accelerates the Process of Economic Globalization First, multinational corporations have become an important force in promoting the world economic development. At present, there are more than 64,000 multinational corporations in the world. The output value of these companies accounts for one-third of the world output value and 91% of the world's intellectual property rights. Their internal and mutual trade accounts for more than 60% of world trade . Its OFDI already accounts for 90% of the global cross-border investment.
