不饱和聚脂基玻璃纤维增强热塑性复合材料比环氧基便宜、工艺简单、固化快。但制造方法对这种复合材料的力学性能影响较大。为降低成本并满足工程需要,有必要对此作一比较性研究。该文用真空袋法在不同固化压力或不同的加压时机下制得试件,并测定其纵横向弹性模量和断裂韧性,其中断裂韧性由屈曲板试验给出。结果显示:真空袋法制得的试件纵向弹性模量和断裂韧性均较高,但横向特性与固化压力关系复杂。结合纤维体积含量测定和断口扫描分析,分析了复合材料纵向弹性模量测试值与混合率误差的原因。权衡力学性能和成本因素,建议了适宜的固化工艺。
Unsaturated polyester-based glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite materials cheaper than the epoxy, the process is simple, fast curing. However, the manufacturing method has a great influence on the mechanical properties of the composites. To reduce costs and meet engineering needs, it is necessary to make a comparative study. In this paper, the vacuum bag method was used to fabricate specimens under different curing pressures or different pressurization occasions. The longitudinal and transverse elastic modulus and fracture toughness were measured. The fracture toughness was given by the buckling test. The results show that the specimens with vacuum bag method have higher modulus of elasticity and fracture toughness, but the relationship between transverse property and curing pressure is complex. Combined with the determination of fiber volume fraction and fracture scanning analysis, the reason of the error of the modulus and mixing ratio of the longitudinal elastic modulus of the composite was analyzed. Trade-off mechanical properties and cost factors, the proposed appropriate curing process.
