女儿茶为鼠李科鼠李属植物Rhamuus heter-phyllus Oliv的全草，有清热解毒、活血、通经作用。四川民间用以止痢、镇痛。其化学成分尚未见文献报导。
Her daughter’s tea is the whole plant of Rhamuus heter-phyllus Oliv. It has heat-clearing, detoxifying, blood-activating and meridian effects. Sichuan folk used to stop paralysis and relieve pain. Its chemical composition has not been reported in the literature.
