血吸虫病畜粪便是传布血吸虫病的源泉,因此在当前消灭血吸虫病的工作中,病畜粪便消毒是极重要的一个环节。过去对血吸虫病的人畜粪便消毒方面,各地做了不少的試驗研究,在畜粪方面,生物热消毒法是比較經济而又有效的方法。各种畜粪进行科学的堆置,可以发生50-70℃的高温,而杀死血吸虫卵。但是这个办法需要較长的时間,根据各地試驗,需要經过7-30天以上才能使血吸虫卵全部死亡。在农业生产上肥料需要較多的季节,如春种、夏种等时期对肥料的要求是非常急迫的,因此有些地方就不消毒而直接去施用了,这样就影响了粪便灭卵工作的开展。而肥料急需的季节一般又是天气較暖的时候,虫卵很易孵化。因此我們要求有一种快速而又經济的化学灭孵方法,以补充生物学消毒法之不足。我們在1958年
