此种“钢屑”电焊条是用牌号5ХΓМ或5ХНМ鍛模钢加工时车、刨下的切屑片做成的。对其沒有严格的要求,只要选用厚度稍大、面光滑的即可使用。尺寸:寬約8～12毫米;厚約2～3毫米。在屑片表面涂以适当厚度的优质药皮,即做成电焊条。根据初步試驗結果,利用此种电焊条可以堆焊切边模的工作表面,以及用来修补鍛模的缺陷。用此种电焊条焊后的金属层,可不經过热处理。堆焊三层高約5～6
